Ann-Kathrin Jeske is currently a PhD student and uni:docs fellow at the Institute of Egyptology at University of Vienna, researching the activities of Egyptian officials and soldiers in the southern Levant from Dynasty 0 to the 18th Dynasty. Ann-Kathrin received her BA in “Ancient Cultures in the Eastern Mediterranean” at Georg August-Universität Göttingen and finished her MA studies in “Egyptology” at Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz. She participated in excavation projects in Jaffa and since 2017 at Tel Lachish, where she supervises Area P.
