Slavi Kostadinov started his journey into archaeology at a very young age. Early in his childhood he began digging holes in his back garden back in Bulgaria (yeah he knows, exceptional). His passion, drive and fire soon led him to start his studies at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University of Munich in the Department of Near Eastern Archaeology
Slavi had the pleasure to join the excavation Austrian-Israeli Expedition to Lachish as a volunteer in 2018 and since 2019 he is one of the Square Supervisors of Area P, as well as responsible for the 3D-models of the area.
